2. About Ananda Pact

Ananda Pact is an environmental regulatory advisory practice providing services in the areas of environmental impact assessment support, pollution control and waste compliance, and environmental litigation and enforcement defense. Our registered office is at 78 Phetchaburi Road, Ratchathewi, Bangkok 10400, Thailand.

Our practitioners operate in accordance with applicable Thai professional standards. We are not a law firm in the conventional sense and do not provide court representation services except where expressly included in an agreed scope of work.

3. Website Use

You may use this Site for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Use the Site in any way that breaches applicable law or regulation
• Transmit unsolicited communications, spam, or malicious code

Our services are subject to:

• Completion of any required client identification and conflict-of-interest checks
• Receipt of any required retainer or advance payment as specified in the engagement agreement
• You providing accurate, complete, and timely information and instructions
• The matter falling within our practice areas and capacity at the relevant time

We reserve the right to decline or withdraw from an engagement where professional obligations or regulatory requirements require us to do so.

6. Fees and Payment

Service fees are as set out in the engagement agreement or, for our standard service packages, as published on our website at the time of engagement. Published prices are indicative starting points; the precise fee for any engagement will be agreed in writing before work commences.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

• Fees are quoted and payable in Thai Baht (฿)
• Invoices are payable within 30 calendar days of the invoice date
• We reserve the right to suspend work on an engagement where invoices remain unpaid beyond their due date
• Disbursements and third-party costs incurred on your behalf are charged separately at cost

All fees are exclusive of value-added tax (VAT) where applicable under Thai law.

7. Confidentiality

We treat all information you share with us in the context of an enquiry or engagement with strict professional confidence. We will not disclose confidential information to third parties except where required by law, by a court order, or with your prior written consent.

This obligation of confidentiality applies to our practitioners, staff, and any authorised contractors who handle your matter. It continues to apply after the conclusion of an engagement.

You acknowledge that general information shared through our website contact form, prior to the establishment of a formal engagement, is treated with care but is not subject to the same degree of professional privilege as information shared within an active client engagement.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site — including text, graphics, logos, icons, and document templates — is the property of Ananda Pact or its content licensors and is protected by applicable Thai and international intellectual property law.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bangkok, Thailand, in respect of any dispute arising under or in connection with these Terms or the use of this Site.

Where an engagement agreement provides for a different dispute resolution mechanism (such as arbitration or mediation), that mechanism shall apply to disputes arising under that engagement.
